Lifes quirks and perks

Ladies and Gentleman, lets be honest, this blog is embaressing. Embaressing how little i've done to it. Its just kind of sat here. But I'm having a change of heart. :)

So this week has been a tough week. It's easy to just throw out that phrase, but a couple of times I've felt like throwing in the towel. Trying to figure out how to manage this new job of mine, hasn't been easy. I walked into a big mess, from the department manager before me. Dont get me wrong, I'm really blessed to have this job in the first place. It came at a great time. I was starting to really feel burned out with my other job, and I was ready to try something new, but the stress is still killer sometimes. I've worked at Wal-Mart for two years now. I cant even believe it. I never saw this as a permanent thing, but its funny how life ends up differently than you thought it would be. Anyways for any of you who dont know, I got promoted at Wally World, not to toot my own horn, but sometimes you've got to haha. I am the department manager over Shoes, Jewelry, and Intimates at the Lindon Wal-Mart. I transfered from the AF store. The thing about this job is I'm having to learn things the hard way, figuring it all out by myself. My dad calls it the School of hard knocks. It makes me feel hardcore when he puts it like that. There is a lot more to running a deparment than I thought, worrying about pricing, inventory, thousands of upc's I have to keep track of and count, getting things to sell, changing peoples watch bands and batteries (ahh scary!), and who knows what else. My dad says, stick to your job til it sticks to you. So I'm determined to have this thing up and running! If you cant tell I really love my dad. Okay thats all about my little job. Thanks for listening

How do I start this thing??

So Im new to this blog thing, Im not sure where to start.
So Jesse and I got married in the Draper, Utah temple June of 2010! We live in a cute-yet-oh-so-tiny apartment, without a dishwasher (ahhh the horror!). We're so lucky to have each other, and love being young. Both Jesse and I come from BIG families that are loud and goofy! I definetely see Jesse and I carrying on that tradition in the future. Sundays dinners with our family is the best part of the week for us. Most people would describe me as being quiet, but I hope thats not something that defines me. I love yummy food! That best way into my heart is food. Cafe Rio, we've been through some good times together, you know what you mean to me. I always lose my keys, I spent about 1/4 of my high school years looking for them. I love stopping by the asian store in the mall, and making friends with the workers there :) I love laughing, people watching, taking pictures, and dancing to Michael Jackson songs whenever I get the chance. Im excited to start this hot bloggity blog!
